Dear Editor,

So refreshing it was to read recently the writings of a bright and clear mind. That is, the letter from Kristine Dillon. She took on Gilroy’s Allen V. who is barely capable of stringing three beads together on a thin thread, let alone weaving two sequential ideas into a comprehensible essay.

The problem is that Mr. V whines so often, there could be some out there actually listening to him. Remember, it has been said that “all that is required for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing.”

Kristine’s letter is great, but we need more citizens of Gilroy to take on these embarrassing extremists. Mr. V writes, and writes and writes, using repeated phrases like “union lackey” and anything else in his limited vocabulary to demean others.

Let’s get some others with clear thinking into the habit of writing in the Dispatch. Let’s get more of the “silent majority” to kick butt on the Santa Clara County’s least educated city (Gilroy) by writing respectable comment of a conservative, middle of the road or liberal nature.

Much of that is going on already in the Dispatch, but we need new writers to portray what the growing city of Gilroy truly is like. Gilroy is not at all represented in the drooling diatribes of Mr. V, the Viking of Wimpy Whiners.
