It’s been one month since Sierra LaMar’s parents discovered their 15-year-old Morgan Hill daughter was missing. Tonight, Sierra’s family will hold a special vigil and balloon release at Burnett Elementary, 85 Tilton Ave., at 6:30 p.m. to mark the one-month anniversary.

SAN JOSE—The life of a 15-year-old Gilroy boy was cut short after he and two other young people were killed in what police believe was a street race in San Jose on Oct. 13.

The Gilroy Police Department recently made arrests for a variety of crimes, including sex crimes against a minor, burglary, possession of a controlled substance for sale and inflicting bodily injury on a child. All arrests were recorded in the GPD blotter between Oct. 29 and Nov. 6. All suspects remain innocent until proven guilty, and an appearance in the arrest log does not signify guilt for the listed crime/s.
