Born in Azusa, CA, on May 19, 1927, the son of the late Jose Maria and Josefina Quintana. He served in the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 82nd Airborne Division from 1945-1947.

Carmen E. Sanchez passed from this earth on Monday, May 3, 2010, in the serenity of her home. Carmen, born in Riverside, CA is survived by her sister, Lupe Sanchez and numerous nieces and nephews.
