Carolyn Louise Reiss, born January 12, 1929, in Santa Rosa, CA, passed away on March 16, 2010, at the age of 81. Carolyn lived in Alameda, San Francisco, and for the last 40 years, in Hollister where she had retired from teaching elementary school in 1994. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and sang in the choir for many years. She is survived by her sister-in-law Vida Reiss of Alameda, niece Cindy Trumpower of Portland, OR, nephews Cliff Reiss of Alameda and Ken (Kathy) Reiss of Martinez, and many great and great-great-nieces and nephews. A family service was held at Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland on March 19, 2010
