Alicia Salinas

Alicia E. Salinas passed away peacefully on March 5, 2008 at Saint Louise Hospital in Gilroy, CA. She was 84. Alicia was born March 25, 1923 in Monterrey, Mexico. In 1961, Alicia and her husband moved to California with their children. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed the Morgan Hill Senior Center, Senior trips, and traveling with her family. She was devoutly religious and was a member of Saint Catherines Church in Morgan Hill. Preceding her in death were her beloved husband, Ezequiel and son Jaime Salinas. She is survived by children Salvador Salinas, Hugo Salinas, Martha Perales, Lupe Vaca, Diana Pak, Grace Diaz, Louie Salinas, Betty Beach, Tony Salinas, Marylou Thorpe and Santos Salinas; and 27 grandchildren; and 24 great- grandchildren. Visition will be held on Monday, March 10, 2008 at 5:00 P.M., at Johnsons Funeral Home followed by a Rosary. Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 10:00 A.M., at Saint Catherine's Church in Morgan Hill.

Vineyard Pre-K enrollment opens

Fall registration for Vineyard Christian Preschool begins Feb. 12 at 8 a.m. The Vineyard serves families with children 3 and 4 years old, and who desire a quality pre-Kindergarten educational experience for their children.
