Linda Jean Armenta, 66, passed away at her home in Gilroy on Sunday, July 8, 2012, after a lengthy illness. Loving wife of Fred Armenta of Gilroy. Mother of Shelley Thrash-Hull of Manteca, CA, Laura Thrash of Aptos, CA, David Armenta of Gilroy and Jennifer Armenta of Seattle, WA. Grandmother of Justin Robles, Brandon Alatorre, Conner Hull and Gavin Armenta. Daughter of Wanda Lewis of Gilroy and the late Bob Lewis Jr. Sister of Denise Lewis-Hendrick of Morgan Hill, CA. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rotary Club of Gilroy to give away $75k-plus
The Rotary Club of Gilroy on Oct. 7 will kick off its 2024-25 funding cycle, inviting schools, nonprofits, youth organizations and others to apply for grants. This year, the Gilroy club has earmarked more than $75,000 for the annual Community Grants Program.
