Linda Sue Harvey Securda
Born July 1, 1939, beloved wife of Kerrick C. Securda, was preceded in death by him August 2008, and was the daughter of Dorothy & John E. Harvey, Dixon, IL., also deceased. She will be greatly missed by her sisters Joan Stafford, Corinne McCoy, Sandra Harvey, Diane Gildemeister, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Linda will be fondly remembered for her convivial personality, and wide range of interests.

Arlene Ruth Causey
Arlene Ruth Causey died naturally in her home in Walnut Creek. Born in Sioux City, Iowa, she was educated in Iowa and then in Boulder, CO, where she met her first husband, James Hudson Lyon. They moved to Los Angeles in 1937. After being widowed in 1964, she married Dr. James Causey and they settled in Gilroy. Arlene began acting in college and then in community theatre. She appeared on stage with her first husband as members of the Hillbarn Theatre in San Mateo in the 1940's. She made a spectacular comeback appearing as Eleanor of Aquitaine in THE LION IN WINTER for the Gilroy Community Theatre in 1975. She was a lifetime member of the Children's Home Society and the American Association of University Women. When widowed for the 2nd time, Arlene moved to Rossmoor to be near her grown children and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Holland, of Berkeley, and her son, Stephen Lyon, of San Francisco, and Tom Holland and Suzanne Lyon as well as her grandsons, Randolph Holland, Brenden Holland, Adam Lyon, Joel Holland, and Chad Lyon. She has five great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters. Donations in her name may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the Berkeley Public Education Foundation. Private services for the family will be held in Walnut Creek.
