A service of praise and celebration will be held at the New Beginnings Church on Pike Church Road, where Bert served as an elder, at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 25, 2013. Interment will be private at the Sangerville Church of the Brethren cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Service in Bridgewater, VA.
