DEAR EDITOR:
I worked at Wal-Mart for more than six years. Wal-Mart is not the best company to work for.
I can tell you something: employees work off the clock, men get paid more than women. You would work until 1 a.m. and go back to work at 7 a.m. I would go shopping at Wal-Mart sometimes would be told to get on a register. We had some bomb threat and all of the workers had to go back into Wal-Mart and look for the bomb. A store manager can tell you and your workers that you all are worth a dime a dozen. One day we had a bad rain and Wal-Mart got flooded inside the store and the workers had to go clean it up.
If Wal-Mart care for the workers so much, why so many lawsuits? Please don’t have a Wal-Mart Super Center come to Gilroy.
