Betty was born in Berkley, CA to Raymond and Elizabeth Whitehurst and died peacefully Santa Cruz, CA. She was preceded in death by husband Major Homer Crump, sister Roberta Hartman and husband Fred Sharp.

Diana Magana December 23, 1994 – February 7, 2012

Beloved daughter of Mariela and Aurelio Magana. A visitation will be held Friday, February 10th, 2012, from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M at Grunnagle Funeral Home. Private cremation and inurnment will be held.

Judith Anne Tombe May 31, 1936 – January 29, 2012

Judi Anne Tombe passed away on January 29th, 2012, after a brief illness, she was 75 years old. Judi was born in England and sailed to Canada when she was ten.

Betty was born in San Jose 85 years ago, lived all her life in her beloved Santa Clara County, and passed peacefully in Gilroy in her daughter's arms.

Earl S. Coker August 26, 1924 – February 4, 2012

Earl S. Coker passed away peacefully at his home. He was one of ten children born to Clyde and Ines Coker of Nebraska. He was a U.S. Navy retiree and proudly served in WWII and Korea.

Josephine “Jo-Jo” Jimenez October 12, 1924 – February 3, 2012

Josephine Jo Jo" Jimenez, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, February 3, 2012, in Hanford, CA. She was 87 years old. Born in Mountain View, CA to the late Nicolas and Maria Perez, the family later moved to Watsonville, CA where she graduated High School and met the love of her life Daniel Jimenez, who has preceded her in death. She was a phone operator for the military during World War II. She married Danny and moved to Dinuba, CA where they purchased the Tower Theatre, and later changed the name to Maya Theater. They managed the Maya until 1977.

Mary Costa October 30, 1922 – February 1, 2012

Mary is survived by her 6 children, 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Joseph Costa, as well as her parents Luiz and Christina Costa. Mary was a lifetime member of SFV Portuguese Lodge of Mt. View. She was a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed. A visitation will begin 1:00 pm, Sunday, February 5, with a Vigil Service at 4:00 pm both at Habing Family Funeral Home. Charlie Lacasa November 11, 1931 – February 1, 2012

Charlie Lacasa passed away Wednesday afternoon at his home in Hollister. He had served in the U.S. Airforce,and a member of the Hollister Elks Lodge. Charlie was a natural gas serviceman for 41 years with PG&E. He was predeceased by his wife, Joan Lacasa in May of 2008 and is survived by his sons, Mike Lacasa, wife, Taundie, and Mark Lacasa, wife Cindi, grandchildren, Morgan, Dustin, Derek, Sarah, Chelsea, Dillon and Trevor. Also survived by a sister, Martina Butler of Texas. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 7, from 12:00 to 7:00 PM at the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home chapel followed by entombment at the Mausoleum in Calvary Cemetery. Contributions are preferred to the American Cancer Society.

Mark Steven Bailey August 31, 1955 – January 24, 2012

Mark passed away in Boulder Creek after a courageous 3 year battle with Melanoma brain cancer.Growing up in Gilroy, he graduated from Gilroy High School in 1973. He enjoyed 30 years in construction.
