David Michael Nance Resident of Los Gatos, CA, passed away on Tuesday after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Dave was born in Duluth Minnesota and migrated west where he graduated from Leigh High School in San Jose, CA. Victoria Gruber-Denice, 64 of Gilroy, California, died December 20, 2011. She was born August 16, 1947, in Pasadena, CA, the daughter of late Fred Gruber and Irene Kohler. She spent almost 20 years in education as an elementary school teacher. There, she helped shape and mold young minds and had an everlasting affect on their lives. She was a devoted Christian, wife, and mother.

Martin G. Galvan passed away at his home at the age of 84. Born in Artisia, New Mexico. He was a resident of San Benito County for over 50 years. Martin was a member of the Laborer's International Union Local #297. He is survived by his brothers, Ramon Galvan of Hollister, Jose Galvan of Hollister, sisters, Olivia Cardenas of Hollister, Juana Hernandez of Hollister and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Theodore (Ted) Wood, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at home on Sunday evening December 18, 2011, after a courageous fight with lung cancer. He was a devoted husband of 46 years to Linda Wood of Gilroy. He was a loving father of Ted Wood, Tim (Diane) Wood and Leeanna (Bryant) Hammer of Gilroy and grandfather of Michelle, Karisa, Teddy, Andrew, Melissa, Jamie, Lauren, Brandon and Madison.

Isabel A. Ramirez was born July 8, 1932 and died peacefully at her home early December 17, 2011. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was survived by her husband Jose L. Ramirez of 54 years; children Rachel, Mary, Joey, Elizabeth and grandchildren Victoria, Jose, Mark, Matthew and great granddaughter Aubrey Mia. Isabel was the oldest of seven. Sisters Esther, Luisa, Stella; brothers David, Jeronimo, Arthur and Albert.
