Barber by occupation, Don owned Downtown Barbers before his retirement in 2000. Besides cutting hair in his small traditional shop, he also found enjoyment in restoring vintage autos. He spent countless hours working on them before selling them to go on to new projects.

John, a loving father, husband, and retired music and English teacher at SBHS, died peacefully at his Hollister home on Dec.14th, 2011. He is survived by his sons and their wives, Scott and Becky Fields and Mark and Diana Fields all of Hollister, and his former wife, Nettie Fields of Hollister. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
Catherine L. (Katie) Fancher Born March 20, 1950 in San Jose, CA, Katie passed away early Friday morning, December 16, 2011, in Gilroy, CA. Katie attended Emmet Grammar School where she was the last eighth grader to graduate before it closed. She graduated from Santa Catalina School in Monterey in 1968 and from the University of California Davis in 1972 with a Bachelors Degree in International Relations. Katie retired in 2009 from the County of San Benito, where she was the Director of Victim Witness Assistance Program.
Elodia Aguilera passed away on 12/11/11 in San Leandro at the age of 87. She was born in Monterrey, Mexico. She is survived by her children, Frank, Rosemary, Liz and Manelli, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
