Joseph Vigilante passed away peacefully on April 20, 2010, with his family by his side. He was born June 27, 1921, in Westport, CT to John and Rose Vigilante. Joe was a generous and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved to be surrounded by his family and was in business for many years with his brothers, Jim and Nick.
Ralph S. Lerma passed away in Santa Clara at the age of 37. He was born in Watsonville and lived all of his life in Hollister. He liked throwing darts, listening to music, playing pool and camping with his family. He was a former dancer for Johnny O, enjoyed barbecuing, working on the computer and stereos and a very loyal Raider fan. He graduated from San Benito High School and attended Healds Business College and was attending Institute Business Technology.
Resident of Gilroy, respected Elder of the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band. A California Indian, Ramona descends from the Chumash, Yokuts, and Amah Mutsun Tribes. Ramona has ancestorial ties to missions Santa Barbara, San Antonio, Carmel, Santa Cruz, San Juan Bautista, and Santa Clara. Ramona was born in Madera, CA on October 16, 1928. She married Valentin Lopez of Gilroy in 1947. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. Ramona was a homemaker and worked Yard Duty, with the Morgan Hill Unifies School District.
Born July 17, 1943, in Kansas City, MS, passed peacefully in his own home, with dignity, and surrounded by family after a brave 18-month battle with cancer on April 23, 2010. Age 66 years.
Badgley, Glenn G. --passed away on April 20th, 2010, in Reno, NV at the age of 77. He was born in Coachella, CA and raised in the I.O.O.F. Orphan Home in Gilroy. At the age of 13, he met Margaret Silva, the love of his life. He graduated from Gilroy High School in 1953 and was drafted into the Army shortly after. He is survived by his beloved wife Margaret of 55 years, his daughter, Beckie Rivera, son-in-law Robert Rivera and three granddaughters of San Jose, CA, his sister Maxine Shepard of Riverside, his brother Elmer Badgley of Murrieta, also his nieces and nephews.
Louise I. Pritchett 82 of Gilroy passed away April 22nd, 2010, after a long illness; preceded by her husband Cliff, sons George, Robert and JoJo. Survived by daughters Mary Bell, Lorriane Travis, Pauline Perez, and son James Pritchett. Louise also has 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
