Visitation will be Thursday, April 29, 2010, 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home in Gilroy. Graveside Services will be Friday, April 30, 2010 11:00 A.M. at Mount Hope Memorial Park, Morgan Hill. A reception at Beth-El Baptist Church, Hwy. 101 & Tenant Ave., Morgan Hill immediately following the Graveside Service.
Passed away in Rodeo, CA. He is survived by his wife Barbara M. Arias of Rodeo, children Joseph L. Arias of Gilroy, Jeanette M. Arias and Charles Arias both of Rodeo, grandfather of 10, great-grandfather of 12. He is also survived by his sister Dorothy Arias of Gilroy and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his siblings Jess Arias, Sally Arias, Mary Aria, Ida Luna, Fred Arias and Richard Arias. Raised in Gilroy, Mr. Arias moved to Rodeo in 1955 where he worked as a Refiner at C & H Sugar.
Maria Diva Costa, a long time resident of Gilroy, met eternal rest surround by her beloved children Margarida and Paul at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose on April 23, 2010, after a sudden illness.
Our wonderful, loving mother and friend was born 9-23-1944 in Lexington, NE. She passed away after 9 successful years of fighting cancer, beating all odds. She was originally diagnosed in 2001, with Stage 4 cancer, and was given only 4-6 months to live.
Nellie Hart passed away on April 8, 2010, in Florida. She was 87 years old. She was a 57-year resident of Hollister, who had moved to West Palm Beach, Florida in 2003 to live with her sister Marjorie.
Frances B. Frusetta passed away Dec. 7, 2009 in Hollister , CA at the age of 94. She is preceded in death by her husband Pat Frusetta, parents, Pedro and Melania Sanchez from Salamanca, Spain, her sisters; Tommy Kennedy, Alice Cardinalli, and Mary Gee.
