At midnight on Thursday morning, officers went to one of the motels in the city for a probation search and arrested Renee Commins, 22, of Morgan Hill, on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was booked into Santa Clara County Jail.
On Tuesday night just after 10 p.m., officers stopped a parolee for speeding on Monterey Road at Cochrane Road. They learned he had two warrants out of the San Jose Police Department. Nelson Garcia, 32, of Gilroy, was given notice to appear in court.
Earlier Tuesday, at approximately 11:30 a.m., an officer was patrolling on foot on Barnell Avenue and stopped Antonio Velasquez, 46, of Morgan Hill. He had an outstanding felony narcotics warrant, so he was arrested and booked into county jail.
