Under influence of controlled substance

Molses Duenas, 36, no address given, 9:00 p.m. Monday, at 7351 Rosanna St. for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Auto burglary

A purse and a cell phone were stolen from a 2005 Acura parked at 11 First St. between 9:45 and 11:20 a.m. Sunday. The unknown suspect or suspects broke the passenger window to get into the car.

An unknown suspect or suspects tried to steal a stereo from a vehicle parked near the intersection of El Cerrito Way and Chiesa Drive, about 9:50 a.m. Saturday. The unknown suspect or suspects broke a side window to get into the car.

A purse, prescription glasses and other items, total value of about $550, were stolen from a 2006 Chevrolet parked on the 8600 block of Church Street, between 7:30 and 10:15 p.m. Friday. The unknown suspect or suspects broke a passenger-side window to get into the car.

Stereo equipment valued at $1,220 was stolen from a 1998 Honda Civic parked on the 500 block of IOOF Avenue, between 10:15 p.m. Thursday and 6:55 a.m. Friday. The unknown suspect or suspects pried a driver-side window open to get into the car.

Commerical burglary

Clothing and tools valued at $3,800 were stolen from a business at 50 E. Luchessa Ave., about 12 p.m. Jan. 8. The unknown suspect or suspects cut a padlock off a storage unit to get the stolen goods.
