6:00 a.m.: A victim reported an auto burglary on Broadway. A Toshiba laptop and car scanner, totaling $850 was taken.
May 12
3:16 p.m.: A neighborhood cat allegedly defecated on private property on Bosque Street.
May 14
3:43 a.m.: Unknown suspects entered an unlocked garden on Eigleberry Street, cut down trees and damaged garden beds, causing $1,100 in damages.
11:40 a.m.: An unknown suspect defrauded a victim on Forrest Street of $1,912 worth in fake online charges.
May 15
12:00 p.m.: Vandalism suspect found in a motel room on Monterey Road after causing $620 in damage to the room.
1:00 p.m.: An unknown suspect entered a business on Eigleberry Street and stole the wallet of the store’s owner from her purse. The victim immediately canceled her credit cards.
1:15 p.m.: A victim was robbed of personal belongings at gunpoint at a motel on Monterey Road. The victim was shown a photo line-up and implicated a locally known transient who is still at large.
May 16
11:38 a.m.: Multiple 9/11 callers reported the stabbing of a 33-year old male by a 21-year old female, from the backseat of a vehicle traveling on Fifth and Monterey streets. The victim attempted to block the stabbing motions while he was driving. Police  arrested the suspect.
May 17
6:30 a.m.: A victim reported a home burglary on Floral Street, resulting in the loss of $2,120 in stolen property.
6:45 a.m.: A victim on Rosanna Street reported two withdrawals totally $608 from their account.
5:30 p.m.: An auto burglary was reported on Gettysburg Way, resulting in the loss of a $600 Luis Vuitton wallet.
5:40 p.m.: A victim reported graffiti on Tarragon Drive, resulting in $2000 in damage to concrete.
May 18
4:30 a.m.: A wallet containing $100 was stolen from a vehicle on the 7200 block of Miller Avenue.
1:02 a.m.: An auto burglary was reported on the 7200 block of Orchard Drive resulting in the lose of an Under Armour backpack and check stubs.
May 19
1:45 p.m.: Three unknown suspects stole forty polo shirts totalling $2,199, from the Tommy Hilfiger store at #20 Arroyo Circle.
3:30 p.m.: A rape was reported when an unknown suspect entered a residence on Carmel Street and forced sexual intercourse on the victim.
5:50 p.m.: Two unknown suspects robbed the Jared Vault Outlet store at 8325 Arroyo Cir, stealing $52,350 in Rolex and Omega watches. The suspects, wearing baseball caps and wielding baseball bats, smashed open display cases, taking the merchandise, making a getaway in a rented 2017 Infinity.
6:30 p.m.: An auto burglary was reported in front of the Under Armour store at the Gilroy Outlets, resulting in $2,579 in losses.
7:50 p.m.: An auto burglary was reported on Leavesly Road. The victim reported a $2,000 Canon Camera with a 17-40 lense and a $200 iPad Mini stolen.
May 20
1:26 a.m.: An unknown suspect assaulted and robbed a victim on Monterey Street, stealing a $500 gold watch, $250 in cash and a $700 Samsung Galaxy phone.
12:38 p.m.: A suspect possessing burglary tools was arrested driving with a suspended license, driving on First Street. The suspect has been involved three, prior vehicle thefts.
2:30 p.m.: An unknown suspect broke into the back window of a vehicle on Leavesley Road, stealing three backpacks containing electronics and currency worth $6,080. The suspect also stole passports and international drivers licences.
7:04 p.m.: A man, suspected of theft, attempted to escape on a stolen bike, was arrested on Travel Park Circle. The suspect was found to be under the influence. The bike was returned to the owner.
May 21
9:18 a.m.: An unknown suspect broke into three vehicles on Swaner Drive. The suspect stole $100 in cash from one of the vehicles.
May 22
12:00 p.m.: A $1,000 vintage Raleigh 10-speed bike with a wicker basket was reported stolen on Hanna Street.
7:00 p.m.: An unknown suspect stole fiber optic cable totalling $500 from Charter Spectrum on 8120 Camino Arroyo.
9:30 p.m.: Unknown suspects caused $10,000 in vandalism on Automall Drive. The suspects smeared paint on and scratched three, new vehicles.
9:30 p.m.: A 2017 grey Dodge was reported stolen from Automall Drive.
May 23
3:09 a.m.: An assault was reported on Arroyo Circle, when an unknown suspect drove through a security chain at the Gilroy Outlets with a white, 2003 Chevy Silverado. When the suspect was confronted by security, he drove away, striking a guard, then made his escape, northbound, through the parking lot. The security guard sustained cuts and abrasions.
8:20 a.m.: An unknown suspect stole a 400 pound bale of recycled material worth approximately $500 from a semi-trailer on Chestnut Street.
10:00 p.m.: An unknown suspect stole property worth $1,600 from a vehicle on Eigleberry Street.
May 25
7:30 p.m.: An arsonist was cited and released after breaking windows at the children’s shelter on Ioof Avenue. The arson caused $800 in damages.
9:00 p.m.: Two golf carts were reported stolen from a golf course on Hecker Pass Road by unknown suspects.
6:00 p.m.: Unknown suspects cut through a fence on Chestnut Street, stealing rims and tires totaling $2,500 and causing $300 damage to the fence.
7:00 p.m.: A case of fraud is suspected when a Best Buy gift card, purchased by an out-of-state victim, was used at the Gilroy Best Buy.
May 26
6:20 p.m.: A kitten on Gurries Drive was taken to receive medical care for suspected internal injuries.
10:30 p.m.: Two suspects were arrested after breaking into a residence on Curry Drive, with the intent to rob the home. The suspects, in presence of the victim’s young child, with the threat of violence, demanded property. The suspects fled police upon contact and were apprehended. One of the suspects is a convicted felon and possessed a firearm.
May 27
10:00 a.m.: An auto burglary was reported on East Street and Old Gilroy Street. The victim reported $1,000 in power tools stolen.
8:40 p.m.: An unknown suspect entered Ulta Beauty on 950 Renz Ln., making away with $4,900 in merchandise.
May 29
10:00 a.m.: A victim on Miller Avenue reported the theft of a $3,090 Motorola handheld radio.
