A woman stayed at someone else’s residence overnight on Dovetail
Way. When she woke up, 3 a.m. Saturday, her 2002 Jeep was missing
and so was the person she stayed with.
Narcotics
A juvenile was cited for possession of marijuana at El Portal Leadership Academy on IOOF Avenue, 2:44 p.m. Friday.
Animal
A dog was found chained in the backyard on Loupe Court with a large open wound on its neck, 3:04 p.m. Friday. The wound appeared to have been caused by an electric collar that had been on the dog. The dog was taken by the police for medical treatment.
A juvenile was at his friend’s house when the friend’s dog came into the house and went toward the juvenile, biting him twice on his legs on Forest Street, 4:30 p.m. Sunday. The owner of the dog relinquished the dog to the police department to be euthanized.
Lost property
A credit card was lost at Hecker Pass Mini Mart on First Street, 7:59 a.m. Friday.
Assault
A juvenile was assaulted near El Portal Leadership Academy on Forest Street, 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
Auto burglary and fraud
A 1993 Honda Civic parked on the 8300 block of Springdale Court was entered between 9:30 p.m. Friday and 7:45 a.m. Saturday and $730 worth of items were stolen. A black car stereo, VTech controller for the car, two sunglasses, a Bank of America debit card and a U.S. Bank checkbook were stolen. The car’s owner reported that the debit card in the car had been used and charged $654.10, 9:16 a.m. Saturday.
No injury accident
Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Longmeadow Drive and Santa Teresa Boulevard, 2:21 p.m. Saturday. There was some complaint of pain but no medical attention was requested.
Someone rear ended another car traveling southbound on Camino Arroyo, just south of Wentz Drive, 5:21 p.m. Sunday. The driver of the car at fault was unlicensed and had no insurance. The driver was cited and released at the scene.
Graffiti
Graffiti was found at El Roble Elementary School, 2:43 p.m. Saturday.

Petty theft
A powder-coated Christmas tree decoration, worth about $200, was stolen on Sagewood Court, 10:15 p.m. Saturday.
Someone entered a store on Leavesley Road and took two 12-packs of Budweiser beer and fled the area in a black Dodge Durango, 9:35 a.m. Sunday.
Someone stole the rear license plate off a 2006 Chrysler on Renz Lane, 10 a.m. Sunday.
Injury accident
Two vehicles collided at Monterey Road and Buena Vista Avenue, 11:52 a.m. Sunday. Three people had minor injuries and one was transported by helicopter to a hospital.
Found property
A black wallet was found with miscellaneous papers and cards and $62 in cash on First Street, 3:21 p.m. Sunday.
