The Gilroy Police Department is telling residents to be on the lookout for two men wearing polo shirts with the words “GE Alarm Solutions,” who have been asking residents about their home alarm systems and marking driveways and sidewalks with what appears to be a code for future reference.

According to police, the suspicious individuals were seen at the 7600 block of Santa Theresa Drive and surrounding neighborhoods.

They are described as clean-shaven Asian males in their 20s, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with thin dark-colored hair, according to police.

Police were unable to validate GE Alarm Solutions, its employees or contractors. The Anti-Crime Team has been conducting surveillance in the area detaining approximately 10 people who weren’t found to be the suspicious individuals.
