Police seized 100 grams of methamphetamine and arrested two men on suspicion of multiple related charges in north Morgan Hill early in the morning July 16, according to a press release from the Morgan Hill Police Department.
A Morgan Hill officer saw the two men sitting in vehicle parked in a handicap stall about 1 a.m. on Woodview Avenue with no visible placard, police said. Officers contacted the two men, and subsequently learned that one of them—Denny Holderfield, 50 of Gilroy—was on active probation. Police conducted a search of the vehicle and found more than 100 grams of methamphetamine hidden inside the engine compartment.
Holderfield and the other suspect, Colin Brunton, 45 of San Jose, were arrested and booked at Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of possession of narcotics for sale, being under the influence of a controlled substance, narcotics paraphernalia and attempting to conceal or destroy evidence, according to police.
