Citing “new developments” in the investigation into the death of 15-year-old Sarah Botill, police will hold a press conference Monday afternoon to discuss the case.

According to a police press release, police want to “clear up mistaken information that has surfaced” regarding Botill’s death. During the conference, which will include police and representatives from other unspecified agencies, police will provide “detailed information” about her death, which occurred on the morning of Dec. 5 after a night of drinking vodka with another 15-year-old girl and an 18-year-old woman during a sleepover at the house of a former councilman.
