Lori Adolph, 42
A: President. “I just changed my mind last night. I was going to vote for Bush, but I spoke with my 11-year-old son, and he said, ‘Mom, there are troops in Iraq, and if you vote for Bush, they’ll stay there.’ So I changed my mind and voted for Kerry. I’m most proud of that vote.”
George Goris, 83
A: President. “I still say Bush is the better man. His opponent is probably all right, but his past is questionable.”
Suzi Solario, 29
A: Yes on Proposition 71, which helps fund stem cell research. “If there is an opportunity to help those who need it, why not?”
Richard Janisch, 34
A: Yes on Proposition 1A, which protects local governments’ funds from the state. “I’m a county employee, and I’m a little sick and tired of the state coming in and taking money from cities and counties, and there’s not a whole lot we could do about it.”
