It didn’t turn into the blizzard that some residents had hoped
or feared, but Gilroy was met with light snowfall Saturday
afternoon. Because temperatures in town stayed in the high 30s and
low 40s, the snow didn’t stick. That didn’t stop some residents
from rushing outside with their cameras to see the rare flakes fall
