Dear Editor,

I remember Jeramy Ailes way before he became a Marine. I worked as a campus security officer at Gilroy High from 1997-2002 and let me tell you, Jeramy along with Chris, Freddy and Gino were jokers and pranksters. They were always joking around with the security team, trying to escape from us at times and actually being sucessful at times or saying “YEP, YEP” really loud and letting us hear it from across the campus. But Jeramy like many said in previous remembrances never took it to the next level resulting in punishment or hurting someone.

I salute Jeramy Ailes along with the rest of the young men and women serving over in that part of the world. We here back in the states enjoy our freedom, while our young men and women fight for our freedom we enjoy and take for granted. To Jeramy’s buddies Chris, Freddy and Gino, remember that Jeramy will always be with you guys as friends for life.
