Richard H. Barrow passed away in Corning on June 4, 2003. Richard was born in Klamath Falls, Ore., on May 28, 1937, to the late Mary and Hudson Barrow of San Martin.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Debbie Barrow; daughter Janet Mauzey of Red Oak, Okla., and sons, Ricky Barrow of Wilburton, Okla. and Brian Kiefer of Corning; granddaughters Desiree, Sarah and Rainey Mauzey and McKenna Kiefer; grandsons, Casey Barrow and Chase Kiefer. He was the brother of Marilyn Peterson of San Martin and uncle to Beverly Castillo, Steve, Johnny and Shawna Pacheco, Julie Armstrong, Carrie Statford and Christie Castle.
He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and many loving friends.
Richard joined the Air Force in 1954 and after 10 years in the service returned to Morgan Hill where he worked for PG&E for 33 years until his retirement in 1995. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Fish and Game and Elk Club and was an avid sports enthusiast, loved to fish and always ready to enjoy a good laugh.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Johnson Funeral Home in Morgan Hill on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Corning. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity or St. Elizabeth Hospice, 1425 Vista Way, Red Bluff.
