Robert E. Johnson, 79, died at his residence Nov. 28, 2003.
Mr. Johnson was born in Illinois in 1922. He moved to Gilroy five years ago to be near his family, he was a veteran of World War II.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his children Lynn and her husband Angelo Butera, of Gilroy; Mark and his wife Elena Johnson, of San Jose; and Robert Johnson, of Bend, Ore. He is also survived by his grandchildren Neil and Kelsey Johnson, of San Jose, and a sister Lil Mumm, of Rockford, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Johnson.
Private Services will be held in Rockford, under direction of Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.
Donations to the Lung Association in his memory are preferred and appreciated.
