NRA MEMBERS’ COUNCIL OF SANTA CLARA COUNTY 
will host its New Shooter Clinic October 7, 2017 
New Shooters are invited to join us for a fun time learning to shoot! 
(18 years and older) 
THE PURPOSE OF OUR NEW SHOOTERS CLINIC IS TO INTRODUCE FIRST TIME SHOOTERS TO FIREARMS. WE HAVE PLENTY OF DIFFERENT FIREARMS, AMMUNITION AND INSTRUCTORS AVAILABLE AND WORK CLOSELY WITH RANGE MANAGEMENT TO PROVIDE A SAFE AND FRIENDLY LEARNING ENVIRONMENT. WE ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS, AND ABSORB MOST OF THE COSTS OF THE EVENT.

We want you to have a safe, informative and fun learning experience hosted by our membership. The only costs to you are a $35 range fee which includes hearing and eye protection. We provide the firearms, ammunition and training. 
You will experience: 
A firearm handling and safety class, conducted by an NRA certified instructor One-on-one coaching on the firing line. The opportunity to shoot a variety of firearms 
A wonderful time! 
Barbecue! Santa Clara County MC Board Members will once again provide us with a barbecue lunch. For a nominal $5 fee, lunch offers a choice of a hamburger or hot dog plus chips and soda or water. 
Important range information: This shoot will be for those 18 and older. 
Directions: 
Take 101 to the Bailey Avenue exit. Turn east (towards the hills) on Bailey (becomes Malech). Follow Malech Road right at first stop sign (approx. 1 mile), right at “Y” into range. The first stop will be the Clubhouse for check in and the Safety Orientation. As you drive into the facility you will see the Club house building up on the side of the hill next to the trap and skeet range. Once through the safety orientation our 
guests will be directed to the 75 yard multi purpose range. 
Please arrive promptly or before your reserved start time.
