Lila Parrish celebrates her 75th birthday Nov. 19.
Lila, born Nov. 19, 1935 and wife of the late Sid H. Parrish since Sept. 5, 1953, is a loving mother of four, grandmother of 15, and great-grandmother of 10 and counting.
She is known to all as a grandma who enjoys baking for everyone and her famous Spanish cookies. Lila is an inspiration as a mom and enjoys gardening, shopping and doing crafts with her grandchildren. The family shares many memories in the kitchen baking with her.

Crystal E. Muniz
Crystal E. Muniz has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, basic first aid, foot marches and field training exercises.
Crystal, daughter of Jose L. and Sandra Muniz of Morgan Hill, is currently in Fort Lee, Va. for AIT training.
