Theft
– On April 14 at 3:30 p.m. an unknown suspect entered a victim’s
residence near the 11000 block of Columbet Avenue in San Martin and
took several roofing panels from the back yard. The suspect then
returned and took a riding lawn mower from the same area in the
back yard. The suspect is unknown an
d no physical evidence has been located.
Theft
– On April 14 at 3:30 p.m. an unknown suspect entered a victim’s residence near the 11000 block of Columbet Avenue in San Martin and took several roofing panels from the back yard. – Two unknown male suspects, one described as a 25-year-old black male, 5 foot, 10 inches tall and weighing 165 pounds, robbed a victim who was stopped at 12:34 a.m. April 15 on Highway 152 near Lovers Lane in Gilroy after the victim had run out of gas in the rural area. The two suspects threatened the victim with a gun before stealing the victim’s wallet and fleeing in a white Pontiac. The suspects are at large.
Vandalism
– Amador Banuelos, 36, April 15 at 10:35 p.m. at the 13000 block of Monterey Highway in San Martin for vandalism under $400. Amador was arrested and booked after kicking in the front door of establishment.
– On April 16, 11:00 a.m. an unknown suspect keyed a victim’s vehicle while it was parked near the 13000 block of Depot Road in Gilroy. The estimated damage was approximately $2,500. The suspect is unknown and at large.
Possession
– Darlene Barry, 48, April 19 at 8:30 a.m. at the Santa Clara County Main Jail on 150 West Hedding St. in San Jose for possession of drug paraphernalia in jail. After being arrested for outstanding warrants Barry was transported to the Santa Clara County Main Jail, where she was found to be in possession of a glass pipe hidden inside her front waist area.
– Alfred Madrid, 41, April 19, 11:26 p.m. near the intersection of Westwood Drive and First Street in Gilroy for possession of a controlled substance and being under the influence while driving.
Identity theft
– On April 9, 12 p.m. near the 9800 block of Lantz Drive in Morgan Hill an unknown suspect used a victim’s identity to open store credit cards and purchase items from Home Depot and JCPenney. The suspect also used the victim’s identity to purchase items on the victim’s Kohl’s credit account and attempted to open a Chase credit card twice. The suspect is at large.
Under the influence
– Johnny Pena, 28, April 16, 6:44 p.m. near the intersection of Chester Avenue and Monterey Road in San Martin for being under the influence of a controlled substance and driving with a suspended drivers license. During his arrest Pena admitted to smoking meth two hours prior.
– Sonia Salgado, 36, April 19 at 3:22 a.m. near the 200 block of West Ninth Street in Gilroy for being under the influence of a controlled substance and parole violation.
