grandmother of his six children, who is the legal guardian of three
children, between 12 p.m. June 15 and 2 p.m. July 9, on the 200
block of Madrone Avenue in Morgan Hill.
Possession of less than one ounce of marijuana
– Isaac Ponce Gonzales, 32, of Gilroy, 11:57 p.m. July 21, near Third Street and Santa Barbara Drive.
Under the influence
– Daniel Claudio Cruz, 46, of San Jose, 3 p.m. July 18, near Monterey and Bolsa roads.
Grand theft
– A garden hose was used to siphon 100 gallons of diesel fuel from a remote Verizon Wireless cell site, between 2:30 a.m. and 2:50 a.m. July 15, on the 9700 block of Monterey Road in Morgan Hill.
Found stolen property
– An empty cash register and receipts were found in an orchard at Christopher Ranch on the 300 block of Bloomfield Avenue, 7:45 a.m. July 14. Deputies determined that the cash register was stolen from McAlpine Lake and Park in San Benito County.
Vandalism to vehicle
– A 19-year-old Morgan Hill woman is suspected to have used car keys to scratch a 1998 beige GMC Sierra truck after becoming jealous when she saw the vehicle’s owner talking to another girl at a house party, between 12:01 a.m. and 1 a.m. July 12, on the 3400 block of Roop Road.
Assault and battery
– A Gilroy man assaulted another man, 9:33 p.m. July 11, on the 1500 block of Rucker Avenue. The victim said his assailant punched him in the face and threatened him with a machete.
Death threats

Identity theft
– A female Verizon Wireless customer was notified by a collection agency that she was delinquent on an AT&T phone bill for $227.38. Not an AT&T customer, the woman’s personal information was used to obtain an account, between Sept. 1, 2007 and Jan. 1, 2008, on the 2000 block of Roop Road.
Residential burglary
– $2,000 was removed from beneath the bed of a home on the 12400 block of Sycamore Avenue in San Martin, between 12 p.m. June 1 and 10:35 a.m. July 9. Deputies found no signs of forced entry.
Recovered stolen vehicle
– A 1981 white Chevy flatbed stolen out of San Benito County was found missing a battery and with its windshield smashed, 7:30 a.m. July 9, near Highway 25 and Bloomfield Road.
Stolen vehicle
– A 1987 blue GMC Jimmy was stolen, between 1 a.m. and 11 a.m. July 20, on the 930 block of Southside Avenue.
Grand theft
– $1,000 worth of electronics were stolen from a home on the 1600 block of Doral Court, between 11 p.m. July 19 and 3:30 a.m. July 20, during a party at the victim’s parents’ home. Extensive burn damage to the carpets and hardwood floors was estimated at $2,000.
– Thirty pieces of irrigation pipe valued at $2,000 were stolen, between 12 p.m. July 16 and 8:30 a.m. July 17, at Borello Farms near Monterey and Castro Valley roads.
Burglary
– Locks were cut off two cargo containers and $9,981 worth of construction equipment and tools were stolen from the inside, between 9 a.m. June 18 and 4:30 p.m. July 15, near East San Martin and Sycamore avenues in San Martin.
Attempted burglary
– Between 8 p.m. July 17 and 9:40 a.m. July 18, on the 390 block of Fitzgerald Avenue in San Martin.
Brandishing a weapon
– A man waving a metal pipe got out of his vehicle, a 2007 Silver Toyota Tacoma, and threatened two motorists at the stop sign at the corner of Highway 152 and Highway 156, after they changed lanes in front of him on Highway 152, 6 a.m. July 17.
Residential burglary
– A 32-inch television and various tools valued at $1,760 were stolen from a residence, between 6 p.m. July 15 and 8:40 a.m. July 16, on the 10000 block of Dougherty Avenue in Morgan Hill. Entry to the home was gained through the unlocked bedroom window.
Recovered stolen vehicle
– A 2008 grey Nissan Altima stolen out of Morgan Hill was found, 6:15 p.m. July 15, on the 13300 block of Llagas Road in San Martin.
Theft of credit card
– Several credit cards were stolen and used to make charges between $3,000 and $4,000, between 12 p.m. Jan. 15 and 12 p.m. June 20, from Syngenta Seeds on the 7200 block of Holsclaw Road.
