– Four Sobrato High School students, all 17 years of age, July
31 at 4 p.m. near the intersection of Uvas Road and Croy Road in
Morgan Hill for vandalism. The four suspects were out joy riding in
one of their parent’s cars and decided to throw water balloons at
moving vehicles. Three vehicles were damaged at an estimated value
of $400. All four juveniles were arrested and released to their
parents.

Burglary
– Unknown suspects, July 22 at 8:30 p.m. near the 1500 block of Gilman Road in Gilroy for stealing heavy farming equipment from a locked storage shed. The suspects are still at large.
– Unknown suspects, July 24 at 8 a.m. near the 1300 block of Center Avenue in San Martin for vehicular burglary and attempting to steal a vehicle. The suspects are still at large.
– An unknown suspect, July 24 at 2:45 p.m. near the 1400 block of Buena Vista Avenue in Gilroy for residential burglary. The suspect entered the victim’s residence through an open window and took $4,000 in possessions. Latent fingerprints were located and booked into evidence. The suspect is still at large.
– An unknown suspect, July 21 at 5 a.m. on the 900 block of Arizona Circle near Southside Avenue in Gilroy for residential burglary. The suspect exited the residence through the front door and exited through the bedroom window while the victim was at work. The suspect is still at large.
– An unknown suspect, July 22 at 6:30 p.m. on the 600 block of Denio Road near Rice Road in Gilroy for stealing a vehicle. The suspect is still at large.
– An unknown suspect, August 1 at 4:30 p.m. near the 5000 block of Santa Teresa Road in Gilroy for burglary. The suspect stole $1,683 from the Gavilan College football team’s cash box, which was earned during a fundraiser held the previous weekend. The cash box was stored in the football coach’s office, which was locked. There were no signs of forced entry. The suspects are still at large.
Credit card theft
– An unknown suspect, July 28 at 9 p.m. near the 2000 block of Oscar Drive in Gilroy for theft by credit card.
Stealing a horse
– Unknown suspects, July 21 at 8:30 p.m. near the 10000 block of New Avenue in Gilroy for unlocking a gate and stealing a horse during the night. The suspects are still at large.
Armed robbery
– An unknown suspect, July 25 at 1:30 p.m. near the 1400 block of Tennant Avenue in Morgan Hill for armed robbery and carjacking at a fruit stand. After pointing a gun at the victim and demanding money, the suspect stole the victim’s cell phone, car and money. The suspect is still at large.
Unlawful possession of a weapon
– Enrique Rivera, 18, of the 420 block of Osgood Court in San Jose, July 26 at 10:37 p.m. at the Chevron gas station located at the intersection of Monterey Road and 10th Street in Gilroy for possession of an unlawful weapon.
Possession of a concealed dirk or dagger
– Louie Catano, 30, of the 16570 block of San Ramon Drive in Gilroy, July 22 at 12:47 a.m. near the intersection of Monterey Road and San Martin Avenue in San Martin for possession of a concealed dirk or dagger.

– Ashley Edwards, 24, July 27 at 7:40 p.m. near the 16000 block of Carey Lane in Morgan Hill for possession of a controlled substance and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
– Evelyn Juarez, 27, of the 7110 block of Rosanna Street, and Annette Giles, 23, of the 570 block of Old Gilroy Road, July 28 at 7:27 a.m. near the intersection of Monterey Road and Luchessa Road for parole hold and being under the influence of narcotics.
– Annette Hastie 40, of the 12600 block of Harding Ave. in San Martin, July 29 at 2:20 a.m. near the 100 block of Middle Avenue in San Martin for possession of methamphetamines, probation hold and possession of a drug.
Exhibition of speed
– John Lynch, 26, of the 18120 block of Barnes Road in Morgan Hill, July 29, at 4:37 p.m. near the intersection of Cochrane Road and St. Paul Drive in Morgan Hill for exhibition of speed. While departing a stoplight, Lynch quickly accelerated and spun his tires.
Drunk in public
– Ivan Trujillo, 20, of the 7272 block of Princevalle Avenue in Gilroy, July 29 at 10:49 p.m. near the 12000 block of New Avenue in Gilroy for being drunk in public.

Vandalism
– Cecilia Servin, 32, of the 3860 block of Pacheco Pass Highway, July 25 at 11 p.m. near the 4300 block of Sheldon Avenue in Gilroy for vandalism. Servin stuck a victim’s vehicle with unknown objects, causing an estimated $2,000 in damage to the vehicle’s exterior.
