Beloved daughter of Mary Silva and the late Louis P. Silva, sister of William L. Silva and aunt of Lindsey M. Silva. A native of San Jose. She resided in San Martin for 60 years. She also leaves her aunts and uncles, Lorraine (John) Figueira, Anthony (Dorothy) Souza all of Santa Clara, Isabel Silva of Gilroy and Bernadette Silva of San Jose, and many cousins and numerous friends.
She worked for Wells Fargo Bank for 36 years before retiring. She belonged to ICF Branch 28 of Gilroy, WIT and was a 10-year docent of Gilroy Gardens. She belonged to the Friends of the Library in Morgan Hill and was a volunteer at St. Catherine’s Church in Morgan Hill.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 7, 2010, beginning at 1:00 P.M. with the Rosary Service at 7:00 P.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 Fourth St., Gilroy, CA. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Catherine’s Church, on Peak Ave., Morgan Hill thence to Santa Clara Mission Cemetery for her entombment.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Society or your favorite charity would be preferred.
