afternoon.
Tri-County Athletic League champions, Gilroy High boys and girls soccer, learned of their playoff seeding destinations Saturday afternoon.

The girls learned they received the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye in the Central Coast Section Division 1 bracket and will begin their quest for a section championship Feb 26. They will face either No. 7 Woodside (11-6-2) or No. 10 Leland (6-8-3).

On the boys’ side, the Mustangs notched the No. 4 seed as well as a bye into the quarterfinals. They await the winner of No. 5 Watsonville (15-1-4) and No. 12 Evergreen Valley. The quarterfinal matchup is slated for Feb. 26.

Time and location for both have yet to be finalized.
