SOCCER: Koontz, Boutté lead CHS girls past Gonzales

Vanessa Koontz and Jamie Boutté scored two goals each to lead Christopher’s girls soccer team to an 8-0 victory at Gonzales on Wednesday.
Alora Estrada, Anita Lopez, Yessi Delgado and Calysta Tiree also scored for the Cougars, who got assists from Tiree, Alondra Villanueva and Emma Morley.
Christopher goalkeeper Lauren Ginn recorded the shutout.
