TWILIGHT LEAGUE AT COYOTE CREEK GC
SAN JOSE – Coyote Creek Golf Course is opening registration for its upcoming twlight league – which begins April 23 and runs through August.
The sponsor fee is $200 per team and only the first seven teams will be accepted.
The team format is four players each night go head-to-head with match play rules. There will be a running cumulative point total through the year with a playoff at the end.

GIRLS BASKETBALL TRYOUTS
MORGAN HILL – South Valley Ballers AAU U12 girls basketball tryouts will be held Saturday, Feb. 15 at the Britton School on Keystone Avenue off Monterey in Morgan Hill.
Tryouts will run from 9:30 a.m. to11:30 a.m.

GILROY – Former Gilroy High football players are wanted for a March 1 alumni gridiron game in ‘The Pit’ at Salinas High.
The game – which has a $40 entry fee – will be full contact with pads provided.

NINERS’ ACES OF JANUARY
GILROY – The Gavilan Niners held their January Ace Day on January 30 at the Gavilan Golf Course in Gilroy.
Ace for January was Phyllis Dollar, of Morgan Hill, net 29. First in the first flight was Anita Sciutto, of Capitola, net 31. Second was Peggy Woolf, of Morgan Hill, net 31. Third was Carol Narvaez, of Morgan Hill.
First in the second flight was Phyllis Dollar, net 29. Second was Elaine Rickard, of Gilroy, net 31. Third place was a tie between Doris Currie and Lorraine Kirmil, both of Morgan Hill. Lorraine also had low putts, 14.
The Gavilan Niners play each Thursday morning at the Gavilan Golf Course in Gilroy. Tee time is 9 a.m.
