Gavilan was swept for just the third time this season, this time at the hands of Cabrillo. 

Josue Salgado and Lachlan Moye both found the net for Gavilan Tuesday, but it wasn't enough to lift them past Canada College. 

Hibsen Tamayo-Davila scored four goals for Gavilan to lead it to its second win of the season. 

GILROY—Gavilan coach Spencer Gilford warned that West Hills was the top team in the newly-christened Golden Coast League. West Hills showed that warning to be the truth Saturday night as the Falcons powered past the Rams 52-10 at Garcia-Elder Sports Complex.

GILROY—Gavilan’s volleyball players are taking their game outside this spring.

GILROY—For the second week in a row, Gavilan was ahead entering the fourth quarter. For the second week in a row, the fourth quarter got the best of the Rams.

Gavilan let De Anza get close in Set 1, but dominated the remaining two to win 3-0 Wednesday on the road. 

GILROY—It was a tale of two halves for Gavilan against Cabrillo.

Gavilan used a big second half to pick up its first win of the year.

REEDLEY—Reedley College quarterback Josh Allen gave the Gavilan defense some problems Saturday night.
