FOOTBALL: Pacific Grove outlasts Christopher, 41-35

Christopher High and host Pacific Grove ran rampant up and down the turf Friday night. The two teams enjoyed the barnburner so much so that neither side knew when to leave.

FIELD HOCKEY: CHS storms past Stevenson

Everything went the way of the Christopher High varsity field hockey team Thursday afternoon against Stevenson. Even the program's first recorded goal via penalty stroke was smoothly deposited by Emma Morley.

FOOTBALL: Gilroy, Christopher both on prowl for first wins

Gilroy High running back Brandon Boyd already has 408 rushing yards. At Christopher, freshman tailback Zach Almash racked up 117 yards in his first start for the Cougars. Both quarterbacks – Mikey Guerrero (GHS) and Sterling Montgomery (CHS) – have held up under the circumstances in their first two starts of their careers.
