Prep Football: Boyd leads Mustangs to 70-0 shutout over Gonzales
It was all about Gilroy’s Brandon Boyd Friday — but he didn’t want it to be.

Ties seem to be the trend for Gilroy thus far. The Mustangs tied 1-1 in overtime at Presentation Friday, putting them at 0-0-2 in the Mt. Hamilton League so far this year. GHS is 4-0-2 overall. The Mustangs were without the services of standout Katrina 'KC' Carter, who suffered an upper body injury in Wednesday's game against Mitty.  Freshman Emily Boykin scored the lone Gilroy goal, a game tying score with three minutes left to play.  Gilroy will be back in action at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Leigh.Â
