Gavilan Football: Fryhoff inks with D2 National Championship ThunderWolves

GILROY—Gavilan quarterback Drew Fryhoff signed his letter of intent to play for Colorado State University-Pueblo on Saturday, and by Monday, he was already on campus.

GILROY—Whether he was grappling on the Jiu-Jitsu mat or battling cancer, Jeremy Montes had the heart of a warrior.

Christopher and Palma exchanged goals, but neither gained an edge. The two teams settled for a 1-1 tie Tuesday's MBL-Pacific contest in Salinas.

Prep Basketball: Vikings top Cougars in league opener

GILROY—The third quarter has been Christopher’s Achilles heel and Thursday night was no different as North Salinas mauled the Cougars 69-38 in the Monterey Bay League-Gabilan Division opener.
