Both Gilroy water polo teams made a splash on Tuesday.

Christopher's match with Pacific Grove was as close as it gets. 

The Gavilan volleyball team got off to a strong start at the Delta College Classic Friday, but struggled the remainder of the tournament.

Nothing got passed Gilroy's Jackie Jauragui at the Leigh Roundup field hockey tournament.

Two Cougars had the games of their lives and it all came at the expense of Live Oak.

GILROY—Christopher’s Nicole Andresen had a lot of firsts at the “Stinky Rose” Tournament Friday. It’s her first year playing water polo, her first tournament and her first time playing not one, but full two games as the goalie.

With two minutes left in the game, Live Oak enjoyed a two-goal lead when Christopher called a time out.
