VOLLEYBALL Christopher sweeps Saint Francis  Olivia Tabron continues to stay hot. The Monterey Bay League kill leading junior had 11 kills and five blocks in Wednesday's 3-0 win over Saint Francis Central Coast Catholic High School in Watsonville.  Tabron, who has 48 kills so far this season, helped the Cougars to  25-13, 25-23, 25-19 sweep. She was complemented by senior Emily Doughty who a .753 hit percentage with seven kills on 11 swings in the game and Cheyanne Dela Merced who racked up 25 assists.  Christa Arroyo lead at the service line with four aces and 15 total serve points while Merielle Gomez, playing back-up libero for the ill Michelle Toves, had 12 digs and 18 perfect service receptions.  "This group of young ladies are quite resilient," Cougars coach Brian Calimpong said. "They adjusted well to the alternate lineup."Christopher will be back on the court at 6:30 p.m. tonight against Aptos.  FIELD HOCKEY Cougars pick up first win of season Christopher High picked up it's first win of the season, a 3-0 shutout of Leland High Tuesday at home. The Cougars (1-2) will start league play at 3:30 p.m. Friday, taking on Robert Louis Stevenson at home.Â
