Looking for an efficient and simple way to lend a hand with homeless outreach?

Consider supporting New Hope Community Church’s necessity kit program, which is approaching its 10-year anniversary of assembling and distributing care packages to needy individuals throughout the year.

In the cold months, New Hope members put together winter survival kits, which come stashed with a gamut of items including Bible, beanie, baseball cap, rain poncho, gloves, socks, T-shirt, toiletries and snacks, to name a few.

As New Hope members prepare to distribute 200 winter survival kits in the coming months at the Gilroy Armory and through street outreach, continued support is appreciated as all of their supplies are paid for directly out of pocket.

Ongoing support also helps sustain the simple necessities kits, which get distributed during the spring and summer months.

Details: Monetary donations can be made out to New Hope Community Church, with “Winter Survival Kit” written on the memo line. Donations can be sent to 8886 Muroaka Dr., Gilroy, Calif., 95020. Visit www.newhopecommunitychurch.org.
