Morgan Hill – The annual Taste of Morgan Hill kicks off this weekend and 40,000 to 50,000 people are expected to attend.
And, this year, the Taste returns to its roots – with only local restaurants selling their cuisine.
“It’s really going to be exciting and great to see how it will work out. It will be great to see the crowds downtown,” said Dan Craig, executive director of the Morgan Hill Downtown Association.
Today and Sunday, from 10am to 6pm, three food courts along Monterey Road will feature food items, along with beverages.
There also will be musical entertainment by various bands, dances and other activities at the Kids Zone on Monterey Road.
Monterey Street in downtown between Main and Dunne Avenue will remain closed through Sunday.
Parking is available at the train depot and at the open field in the corner of Dunne Avenue and Church Street.
