Martinez cracked four hits and Keith Muraoka delivered three doubles for the winners. Jordan Newton managed four hits for Pizza N’ Stuff.
Los Pistoleros powered past Dr. Tile 14-9 as Adrian Ponce went 5-for-5 and Rick Trujillo clubbed a two-run home run. Bruce Hanna struck for two triples and two singles for Dr. Tile.
Dutchman’s Pizza topped Interstate Fence-Dee’z Nutz 11-5 Friday in the second-half opener of Men’s BB play at Las Animas.
Cris Adame went 4-for-4 and Matt Hernandez laced a single, double and triple while scoring three Dutchman’s Pizza runs. Gabe Ponce collected three Interstate-Dee’z hits.
Ryan Dequin belted two home runs, a triple, double and single as Team Coconuts upset Pacific Coast Bail Bonds 17-12 in Co-Rec B League action Sunday at Christmas Hill Park.
Carisa Kovacek added four hits to the Team Coconuts offense. Richie Rodriquez stroked three doubles and a single, Rich Rodriquez a double and three singles for Pacific Coast Bail Bonds.
Peter Martinez went 4-for-4 and Jose Melendrez homered as Out To Play topped Cary O’Neal Roofing-Greenwood Chevrolet 8-5. Cory Casillas scored twice for O’Neal-Greenwood.
Jennie’s Crew needed three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat Dee’s Nutz & Cherries 6-5. Mike Hernandez ended the contest with a run-scoring double. Gil Barry homered for the Crew. Sean Subia homered and Vanessa Flores managed three singles for Dee’z Nuts & Cherries.
