CHS's No. 2 singles player Kyle Kwong hits a backhand shot

Christopher High’s boys tennis team dominated on its way to a 7-0 win at Alisal on Tuesday.

The Cougars got singles victories from Victor Vong (6-2, 6-1), Jeff Kong (7-6, 7-2, 6-2), Ryan Cockcroft (6-1, 6-2) and Kyle Kwong (6-0, 6-2).

The Cougars had doubles points come from Geoffrey He and Destin Cockcroft (6-0, 6-1), Veasna Khay and Dominic Nguyen (6-1, 6-1), and John Cunha and Chris Drewry (6-4, 6-0).

Christopher’s Tom Madruga won an exhibition match, 6-4, 6-2.

The Cougars improved to 8-5 overall and 6-1 in the Monterey Bay League.
