Stubby’s Girls dropped a 16-12 decision to Williams Dental Lab in Women’s B League play at Christmas Hill Park. Stubby’s and Williams finished the half with 5-1 marks and will break that deadlock at 6:30pm Monday June 12 at Christmas Hill.
Trevino Brothers Construction suffered a 12-7 loss to Louie & the Outlaws in Men’s DD League action at Las Animas Park. Trevino Brothers and Louie & the Outlaws share first place at 5-1, forcing a tie-breaker game Monday June 12 at 8:50pm at Christmas Hill.
Williams Dental Lab exploded for 12 runs in the first inning and held on to stop Stubby’s.
Maureen Hughes and Gail Corzo each lashed two singles as Williams grabbed a 12-1 Elena Garcia each added 4-for-5 showings for the losers. Corzo went 4-for-4 and Monica Pantoja scored three runs for Williams.
Don’s Vending finished the half at 2-4 with a 26-12 nod over Goldsmith Seeds.
Liz Talavera crushed a triple, double and single to spark the Don’s Vending offense. Liz Adams went 3-for-4 and Vicki Velasquez pounded two doubles for the Vendors. Yvette Boney went 3-for-3 and Irene Rivera stroked two singles and scored two runs for Goldsmith Seeds.
Isaiah Gonzalez ripped three home runs and a sacrifice fly to key a Louie & the Outlaws win over Trevino Brothers.
Greg Gonzalez went 4-for-4 and Louis Bobadilla produced a double and two singles for the Outlaws. Chris Vigilante socked three extra base hits and Matt Corona singled and tripled for Trevino Brothers Construction.
Manuel Chapa stroked a triple and two singles to lead Thousand Trails Punishers past Pacific Coast Bail Bonds 9-4. Robert Esparza went 3-for-4 and scored twice for the Punishers. Mitch MacVicar netted a double and single for Pacific Coast Bail Bonds.
The Loco Boys completed the half at 4-2 with a 19-13 decision over the Eagles Tuesday at Gavilan Sports Park.
Kyle Kretz went 3-for-3 with drove in four runs for the Loco Boys. Rick Castaneda, Adam DeLeon and Robert VanTassel each went 3-for-4 for the winners. Mark Cisneros lofted two home runs and Kevin Steele went 3-for-4 for the Eagles.
Anthony Contreras, Isaac Agaliotis and Christian Alonzo each ripped five hits as New Hope Community Church tripped the Assassins 26-15.
Agaliotis bagged two homers, Clark Poulsen one for the Church offense. Contreras scored five runs. Louie Gamez, Rudy Maquinalez and Joe Benevides each went 4-for-4 for the Assassins.
