Getting Out: Discover the majesty of the Muddy Mountains
When we flip through maps looking for destinations with scenic beauty and solitude, we generally find places with proper names and boundary lines that define them. Yosemite National Park, Henry W. Coe State Park, Rancho Cañada del Oro Open Space Preserve and the John Muir Wilderness are all distinct regions carefully defined on a map.
Mail just isn’t the same without all the junk

‘Muslim Next Door’ to speak at MH library
Even though Morgan Hill Access TV (MHAT) is an electronic medium that uses video and audio to present information and ideas to the public on cable channel 19 in Morgan Hill, the volunteers at the station also wish to promote the joy of reading books. Celebrating a local veterinarian
Last Saturday, a large group gathered to celebrate a birthday with one of Gilroy’s finest. Dr. James Ebaugh was one of the city’s first veterinarians, practicing for many years. I was one of the lucky ones to work with Jim after I graduated vet school. During those first years of my career, he helped me understand that veterinary medicine is more than just caring for animals. Dr. Ebaugh combined total dedication to his work with a sense of humor that’s important for survival in this high pressure job.
Just face it, you’re not as cool as you used to be
At some point when you become a parent, you lose your coolness. Seriously. I don't know where it goes, but it's gone. And you, the person voted “coolest” in high school are suddenly lumped in with the rest of the goofy parents - basically every single parent on the planet. There is no escape, no matter who you are or how cool you once were. I'm pretty positive even Mick Jagger's daughter looked at her dad and thought, “Will he stop with the duck lips? It's soooooooo embarrassing. And who dances like that at his age?”
Equine “Wolf Teeth” – What are they and how should they be cared for?
Approximately 70 percent of horses will develop wolf teeth. While these teeth usually do not pose a health risk to the horse, they are often removed in performance horses to prevent interference with the bit and to avoid traumatizing the soft tissues around the teeth leading to soreness. Horsemen differ in opinions on when or if these teeth should be removed, but understanding the physiology of wolf teeth can help individual horse owners make the best personal decision for their horses.
