Red Phone: Too much traffic at complex
"I live in a four-plex apartment in the east side of Gilroy. My downstairs neighbor has a one-car garage. There is a lot of of foot traffic that comes in. Some stay 10 or 15 minutes and some stay all day. She also has five little dogs living in the apartment. I have contacted the landlord, who said she had fewer rights than she would like and can't really do anything. I talked to the property manager, who said it may take up to four months to evict them. I talked to the Gilroy Police, who were very sympathetic but are over extended. I talked to the City of Gilroy, who said they would be able to send out a letter in the next couple weeks. But I am not getting any immediate relief of the situation. It is scary. It looks like there may be some sales of illegal things are going on. I was just wondering if there is anything that you can do."

It is easily digestible - especially with dinner the audience is encouraged to bring, along with wine and whatever else is desired. (But no lighted birthday candles or portable barbecues please, per city ordinances.)
“Dirty Dancing” – A little dusty and tired

Tripping over grace
At a certain age, the switch gets flipped, so that saying, “Back in my day” or “Get off my lawn” is just a part of everyday speech. You may also start offering a butterscotch to the younger generation as they roll their eyes.

I read Successful Smaller Downtowns & Business Districts: What Every Businessperson, Property Owner, and Municipal Official Should Know, by John L. Gann Jr., and got some inspirations for downtown Gilroy.
