– Isabel Cadei, 83, died Tuesday from injuries suffered in an
accident earlier this month, the Santa Clara County Coroner’s
office confirmed Tuesday evening.

Cadei was crossing First Street at Church Street at about 8:45am on Nov. 1.
According to witness reports, Cadei was in the crosswalk near Saint Mary Catholic Parish where she volunteered when the lights in the intersection changed.
A woman driving a black Dodge Ram 2500 westbound on First Street began moving into the intersection when the lights changed and struck Cadei, inflicting head injuries.
A CALSTAR helicopter flew her to San Jose Medical Center.
