Women in Touch recently celebrated its 25th anniversary at a
luncheon meeting at the Gilroy Elks Lodge. More than 200 members
attended.The group, which was founded on May 1, 1986, holds monthly

Women in Touch recently celebrated its 25th anniversary at a luncheon meeting at the Gilroy Elks Lodge. More than 200 members attended. Matt Helm, a Dean Martin impersonator, was the special program performer.

The group was founded May 1, 1986 by Jeanne Bennington, deceased; Rosemary Dix, of Morgan Hill; June Lightly, of Burlingame; Wilma Munyon, of Morgan Hill; and Verene Ziemann, of Gilroy.

Marilyn Monk, of Gilroy, is the current president; Sharon Welin, of Morgan Hill, is the vice president; Diane Smith, of Morgan Hill, is the secretary; and Marcy Jackson, of Gilroy, is the treasurer.
